Hello Thusday! An Essential Brush!

I always use my fingers to apply foundation and concealer. Ok... I know, I know what you're thinking: "How can you do that? Fingers are full of dirt and oil!" But every time I have a photoshoot, the day after my skin has spots and it feels itchy and very reactive in general, which makes me think that brushes might not be the best option either. I always wash my hands very well before touching my face, but I don't know if I would have the patient to wash my brushes regularly.

I read a Dick Page's quote somewhere: 
 
"As you touch the face, you remember there are bones there, there is flesh—it's 3-D"

That's a lovely quote about the preference of using fingers over brushes.

But a soft big brush to apply your bronzer or your powder is an essential in every makeup bag and when it comes to that, it's hard to choose.  I got tempted by this super small orange cute brush at TK Maxx! I can have it with me everyday in my bag. I got it for £2 and considering its smoothness and cuteness I think it was a pretty good deal:)

But I'll be studying the idea of getting a complete set of brushes. Just in case!:)
