Simple evenings: football, cheese and wine

It's June and it's raining everyday in London. Football has been the best excuse to leave the house. Watching the games outdoors in a pub somewhere or in a dome, like we did yesterday. Right next to Central Saint Martins College there was a Hyundai Fan Dome where we could watch the emotional and decisive game between Hyundai and Portugal. It's lovely to see how sports bring people together and how fun it can be if we all express our emotions, our anger, frustration, happiness and patriotic feelings in a civilized way. Sports should unify the flags and not divide them.

Yesterday was a good match and an experience to remember, not only because of the game but because we stumbled upon a very nice bar - Notes, Coffee Roasters and Wine Bar - in Kings Cross St. Pancreas, where we had some wine, crips, bread with olive oil and a delicious cheese platter. It was about to rain at any moment, but the night was warm enough to convince us to take the risk of eating outside accompanied by a live jazz band. The italian waiter couldn't have been more helpful, always smiling and sharing some memories of his road trip to Portugal, a couple of years ago. Waiters can definitely change our perception of certain places. Before finding this bar, we tried another one, right in from of Central Saint Martins College. The environment was slightly noisy but cool, everyone seemed to be having a great time, but I didn't feel like staying there especially after having one or two words with the unwelcoming waiter.

Some moments were already published on Instagram but here you have some more pictures.
