I was happy to work with Helen Hamilton who is a wonderful singer and make-up artist whom I met on a photo shoot for the amazing designer Kerry O'Brine. Kerry's collection was inspired in the 50's and 60's and her target are women in their mid 30s. From this wonderful collaboration I got nice headshots with very specific hair and make-up which made me look older, which are quite good for when I need to apply for projects focused on those periods in history.
I had the chance to collaborate with another great photographer, Milan Lorenc. I got in touch with him because Milan needed an actress to do some lighting tests and some experiments. He has a very nice studio - the FoFoHouse Studio - in north London. I wanted something simple, I did my own hair an make-up and brought some clothes. Milan did the rest, chose the lights and the backgrounds and the different environments he wanted to explore.
Andrew Newson, based in Crowborough, is a very talented photographer with whom I took some portraits. I have lots of pictures from this collaboration which I simply love but, there's only one that I could adjust according to the rules of a headshot.
And finally this is my first headshot, taken by George Felner. I am really happy with it, especially because it's very simple, I did a very natural makeup and hair and the expression is just what I wanted, not too serious, not too smiling or seductive or posing or this or that, it's frontal and it's me.
