A new affair: Jewelry

This year we moved to a very tiny and cosy studio which we adore but which has its space limitations also. This detail ended up being an advantage, teaching us to embrace a minimal lifestyle. Now, before acquiring something we need to ask ourselves two questions:

"Do we really need this?",

"If the answer is, yes, then... where are we gonna put it?".

The main disadvantage  of living in a small studio is simple: if something is in the wrong place, you notice it straight away, which can increase my OCD levels and make me feel a slave of the house, sometimes... many times.

There are always smart options to organize your life, especially your jewelry and accessories. I remember questioning myself: where am I going to find a place for my accessories?

Stupid question since I hardly have accessories but I couldn't stop thinking of maybe starting a collection of rings and necklaces, watches and earrings. I already have a couple of things, not enough to fill up a jewelry organizer like the one in the picture bellow, but I should start somewhere. I remember going to a wedding last year, my jumpsuit was really nice, modern, but simple. Something was missing. Until I saw a pair of earrings from Zara. I put them on and, suddenly, the jumpsuit looked so much more expensive considering its real price. I think when we're on a budget, accessories can really turn a simple piece into something more sophisticated and interesting.

I found this necklace in H&M on sale. I thought, why not? Why not starting my collection now?
